These are one of a kind, hand painted, functional works of art which were painted and signed by Christoph Mueller in Germany and assembled by the Daddy Mojo crew in Montreal, Canada. Last year Mr. Mueller did us the honour of designing the new Daddy Mojo logo. He has just now finished working on a trio of limited hand painted instruments which were assembled at our shop.

We recently designed a custom instrument (with vintage sacred heart silk screen and lightning bolt sound holes) for miss Kat Von D and the good folks at LA Ink Tattoo !

Daddy Mojo had a table at the hip DIY Puces pop art fair this past week-end in Montreal. We had a blast meeting music enthusiats from all over the globe and were truly humbled by the warm reception our instruments received. Here is a short clip shot this past Sunday at the event.

We recently designed a 4 string cigar box Gimbri (Lute/bass like traditional North African instrument) for guitarist extraordinaire Andrew Whiteman ( Apostle of Hustle, Broken Social Scene). Daddy Mojo Contest Giveaway!
When the Good folks at "Anyone's Guess" approached us about donating an instruments to the 350.org foundation as part of their "Climate Song Contest" we just had to oblidge. Congratulations to Philip Moberg for the song he wrote about ocean acidification. His inspiring piece won him a Daddy Mojo 4 string cigar box guitar as well as two (2) three day passes to the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco. Good job Philip!
Recording artist Arthur Renwick drove all the way down to our shop from Toronto last week-end to pick up his Daddy Mojo 6 string cbg!
We're happy to announce that Arthur will be using his Daddy Mojo to record some tracks on his up coming album titled"Cigar Box Chronicles"to be produced by the legendary David Lindley.
